Play Pokies at Brisbane Valley Tavern (Aust) in Fernvale

2 people regular travellers for dinner, one meal delivered, we spent our 15 minutes waiting for the second meal (only fish & Steak), they were good food.
BUT- if you think you might play one of the 7 pokies....THINK AGAIN, one local was playing two machines at once, even standing, knowing we were waiting....just put another in, Saying \"I can\'t help myself\" 3 other machines had RESERVED cards displayed no one came for 25 minutes, others were being played, management saw what was happening, but couldn\'t careless....when asked, saying \"we don\'t have a manager on\".

*We never used accomodation.

Had family catch up for lunch and amazing service and food was provided... last minute booking for 23 people and they accommodated us and food came out quickly .
Will go again

If you are after a proper country pub lunch, the Brisbane Valley Tavern delivers beautifully.

Warm, welcoming, and full of local charm, it feels like the heart of Fernvale. I had the blue cheese steak and it was outstanding. Cooked perfectly, tender and juicy, with a rich, creamy blue cheese sauce that took it to another level. Generous portions, fresh sides, and plenty of flavour in every bite.

Great service, relaxed atmosphere, and food that leaves you genuinely satisfied. Absolutely worth the stop.

Came in for lunch. Bistro was quiet. Not many people inside. Music was a bit loud and we had to sit in the corner to talk together.

Ordered the 250g Rump Steak, Chicken Parmigiana, and a Jug of Coke.

Rump was cooked perfectly medium rare and the Vegetables and Chips were absolutely delicious. Vegetables tasted home cooked as opposed to the normal bland taste of other bistros, and the seasoning on the chips were well combined. Better than bland salt-only taste like elsewhere.

The Chicken Parmigiana was cooked with Chopped Ham Pieces, Chips and Vegetables. Chips and Vegetables were like the Rump\'s, delicious.

Chicken Parmigiana was a good portion compared to others out there, and the prices for both the Rump and Parmi were good for my portions, compared to other Bistros around.

The Jug of Coke was 1.2 litres of ice and Coke. Price was average and Coke is always Coke.

All in all a pleasant experience. Would come again!

Really thrilled to walk into this very country small pub. Being gluten free it adds many challenges for eating out. I was utterly thrilled to learn the cook/chef was celiac and she was willing and able to change anything on the menu that I wanted to gluten free. Thank you.
