Fantastic service from Jason, Bec, Ebony and the team - we had a large family birthday function and they could not have been more helpful. All the staff were very happy and professional. Food was excellent - especially considering the large amount of people (80+) that they served quickly and efficiently. Highly recommend!!

My Sister and I were passing through Dalby and decided to stay, so we went to the Criterion hotel for dinner. We were lucky enough to find a park right outside so didn\'t have to walk to far in the dark from these two tired travellers. Went inside and it was busy as, no seats available in the dining area but we found a seat over in the public bar side on the higher stools or we could have gone outside there was a few seats left out there, but we thought it was abit cold outside and was unsure if they had heaters out there. Anyway viewed the menu which gave us some really good choices, we got a garlic bread as a starter then I ordered a crumbed steak and my sister ordered a mixed seafood plate. Meals didn\'t take long at all considering how busy they were, was expecting to take so much longer. We both enjoyed our meals immensely, a good serving sizes too. We had a couple of glasses of wine, was a really good atmosphere, got chatting to a few locals, it was a really enjoyable night, would definitely come back again

Great pub with not just the standard pub food. Hubby had the beef cheeks, which he enjoyed, and I had pork cheeks with pumpkin, sage and feta risotto, delicious once I added salt and cracked pepper to my taste. Reasonably priced at for the huge beef cheek and for mine. Not a great wine selection and they come with a considerable mark up.

Called in here for lunch as we saw good food reviews. So, so so disappointed. We both ordered rump, salad and chips (standard pub meal anywhere). Let\'s start with the sides. Chips were good and crunchy, salad was fresh and well dressed. However, the meal was only luke warm to cold. The steak was very thin, and yes it was cooked to medium rare, as we had ordered. However both steaks were so full of sinew which not only was difficult to cut, and extremely tough to eat. At , we were both very disappointed. Staff were great and we enjoyed sitting in the beer garden. Sorry, but won\'t be calling in again on our travels

Decent serving sizes and good food. Great to find a stake house with halal beef in the western downs region. Constructive feedback: the sauces for the stake could have been better. Loved the dessert!
