Did not stay there.
Its the place to go for a feed a drink and a catch-up.
Great crew.
Quiz nights are fun and can be very busy.

Good vibes, well priced. My peers I was with said it was the best pub. Don't have much on the menu gluten free for celiacs however they were able to adjust and make me a meal which I was very grateful for.

We had lunch at the Grand today while visiting Thursday Island. Restaurant not open. Lots of stuff not on menu. What we had was lovely but so not what is advertised on the website.

Outstanding! Accommodations, very well kept, clean and have everything you need. Definitely recommend this as a stay if you're on TI. Staff are wonderful and the food is sensational. Massive meals so plan ahead and make room. New Year's fireworks are the best. Well done TI. You nailed it!

What a gem of a place. Stayed here for work literally right opposite the ferry wharf (ish)
Room nice and clean with ice cold air con. Went for dinner down stairs the meal was big enough to feed 2. Staff very friendly. Would highly recommend.
