Absolutely worth dropping off the national highway for a well earned break,beer and lunch.
Friendly staff and can even camp outback for the cost of dinner and a few beavies.
There's also a pool for a fresh dip before happy hour 4.30-5.30

On holidays in the region, I dined at this delightful pub with some friends from Ingham. What a treat. I had grilled fish of the day which was freshly caught local salmon and steamed veg. yum! The service was great and I really loved the whole old pub hotel vibe. It was scrupulously clean including the bathroom.It was a beautiful day and we all had a great lunch.

Stopped at Halifax on our way to Lucinda on a very hot day and had the best cold beer! Staff very friendly. Lovely hotel and township. Well worth a stop.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this fabulous venue, camped at the back of the pub and enjoyed a great meal (huge serving of fish, calamari and chips!) Big shoutout to Luke for being an absolute champion..... couldn't have been more obliging by helping us out with power when our freezer was close to dying. Wonderful staff and a must visit if you are in the area! 10/10.

The place is really nice and quiet.
Perfect for a long stay.
I stayed at the hotel for a few weeks for work.
The owners are lovely and very helpful.

The food in the pub is good and cheap.
I would recommend with no hesitation.
