Attended a function in the covered outdoor area at the rear of the hotel. Staff were very efficient and helpful in making sure everyone was comfortable and not waiting too long for food or at the bar. Food was brought out quickly and cleared away so there was no build up at the tables.The platter food was above standard and very tasty, well cooked and presented. Great feedback from friends along the same lines and I will definitely use this venue again. Highly recommend trying them out.

I visited The Hamilton hotel for dinner with some of my friends. Given long standing business I did not have much expectations. But the full experience was above my expectations. Starting with the booking, it was very smooth and booked via Google. I dinned at Winnies Kitchen. Google didn\'t have an exact restaurant, but I guess thats the default. There was ample parking at the back of the hotel. When I arrived it was easy to navigate and get to the restaurant. Table was ready. I tried a house wine till my friends made it. The wine was Soo good. Didn\'t expect it to be Soo good for a house wine. I\'ve left a pic so you can try it too. Glad i tried it got a new wine in my collection 😃 and my friends liked it too. Then the food, which was well presented and in good time after order. I found some dishes are not available in the QR code application, I ordered them at the counter. A very nice and clean environment. We had a good chat and a laughter without worrying that we could be loud😂. I highly recommend this local business. It\'s just on the north side of the city and not too far for anyone. Few suggestions for the business if I may, so that it helps all. Please update the website with the parking info. Didn\'t know you had Soo much of free parking untill I scanned on Google maps satellite to see where the parking is. Also update to enter via the Riverview Terrace so the guest does not have to go around to find the parking. Best if the server\'s can bring the water to start with, I went looking for it 😃. Servers are friendly would be great if they interacted bit more. Team at the bar counter was very nice and quick. Toilets were clean. I will come here again. Thank you for the great experience.

What a great venue. We came for dinner with a group of 16 people. All the staff were very attentive and friendly. The food was excellent, I had the crab and Bug lasagne which was great. Everyone at our table were served quickly. Will come back for sure.

Went to the restaurant for a Mother's Day dinner Saturday night.
After talking the food up to my mother all day I was really disappointed when I got my rib fillet steak that I ordered medium rare and it came out very overcooked and dry as a bone. I don't mind paying + for a steak as long as it's cooked right but unfortunately I was pretty let down.
When the waiter asked how our meals were, I told him that my steak very overcooked and he just walked away, no apology or interest as I still have some of it left in my plate. The picture tells the story. Don't know if we will go back again for dinner.

We recently held a farewell function at the Hamilton hotel in the Marquee area, and it was a fantastic choice for a relaxed, cocktail-style afternoon.

The space was perfect for our group - casual, comfortable, and ideal for mingling. The platter options were excellent, with plenty of variety, and everything was well presented and enjoyed by the team.

Service throughout the event was great, with staff helpful and attentive, making the experience very enjoyable. Plenty of parking onsite made it easy for the team to come together.
