We were incredibly disappointed with our experience. Our entrées took over an hour to arrive, and even then, only two out of the three were brought to the table with no explanation or update on the missing dish. We also received no estimate of when our mains would be coming out.
What concerned us even more was the poor food handling and hygiene practices we witnessed in the kitchen. The chef, who appeared to be the head chef - was plating food with bare hands, wearing fake nails, and engaging in what looked like clear cross-contamination. For any venue, let alone one hosting a function, this is a major breach of basic health and safety standards.
While we understand there was a function on, that's exactly why preparation and adequate staffing are essential. Instead, there were more teenage waitstaff than chefs, and the kitchen appeared overwhelmed and unprepared.
We left before our last starter and mains came out. Getting a take away meal closer to home to fill the void.
Overall, the experience was incredibly disappointing and concerning from both a service and safety perspective. We won't be returning
