Where do I start!?!
The Korumburra Middle hotel was the perfect place to meet friends for lunch.
My husband & I lived in Nyora & although had driven through Korumburra on many occasions we never visited this hotel... I now know that we certainly 'missed out'.

The service was amazing.
The meals were amazing.
I had the 3 Angus Sliders -absolutely delicious, I am not a huge fan of burgers, but these little beauties certainly were worth it.
A side bowl of crisp, hot, fresh fries topped my lunch off perfectly.
My husband had the Creamy Seafood Chowder, the fact that he did not talk at all, was proof that he too really enjoyed his meal.
Our friends opted for the Southern Fried Chicken & the Chicken Schnitzel & they too were very happy with their choice.

As the Middle hotel is midway between our homes I dare say we have found the perfect meeting spot.

It's a huge win when a venue actually takes cross-contamination seriously - finding a truly safe spot for coeliacs is like finding a needle in a haystack.

​The fact that this venue has a dedicated coeliac menu is amazing. It's completely safe for coeliacs, and the food is great for everyone.

We arrived at the Kurrumburra Middle pub in the late afternoon, and once again experienced the open, friendly Australian hospitality that has accompanied us throughout our entire trip. A group of locals were enjoying cold beers and following the horse races, adding to the authentic pub vibe.

The bartender welcomed us with warm, typical Australian friendliness, and our food arrived within about 10 minutes quick, fresh, and delicious. Excellent service, a great welcome, and of course, a perfectly cold beer.

A wonderful stop with real local character. Highly recommended.

Went here for lunch- the food was fantastic as was the service, and the staff were wonderful but the cost I cant but help wonder- for four meals , two garlic breads, two wines one soft drink and a gin and tonic it was 0 dollars- feel like the price was very excessive for what we got. I go to heaps and heaps of food places and this is the most expensive hotel I personally have been to. But if you dont mind the cost its a great feed

Such good food, very filling though I would recommend getting half/smaller serves. Very friendly staff. I got the Lemon Meringue Cocktail and it was insanely good!!! Got their famous Chicken Parma with Waffle Fries and was absolutely delicious :) My mum got their Southern Fried Chicken and she loved it, plus got a entree of dip and bread and the spring onion one was to die for!!!!!!
