When other venues in town decided that 19.50 was too late to be serving food, the staff here were only too pleased to help. Friendly staff, good service and food.

Four of us dined on Saturday night and three of us ordered the "special rump". Two of us ordered medium and it came very rare. Both meals were sent back and were replaced without question. All three steaks were very gristly and tough. Were glad we were only paying . Probably wouldn't go again.

My daughter and I booked a table but had doubts about the place when we arrived and found the restaurant completely empty. Despite this, we felt quite at home and the staff could not have been more friendly. It turned out to be one of the best meals of our entire trip and reminded us not to judge anything just by first appearance.

Running late into town, we pulled into the pub, asking if we could possibly get a meal, not only did the staff go out of their way to help up, being a first time traveller there, they made us feel welcome and quite at home considering the kitchen was closing. The meals and entrees were fantastic, and the bar staff were so helpful. Thank you for such a great experience
