Great selection of food and beverages, although priced slightly high. Overall, really friendly staff and a warm and welcoming environment. Has a weekly quiz night and live music too. Would definitely recommend this local venue, to those who wish to pay it a visit!

This was a really good choice to meet up with friends for drinks before a show. Food is good with nice sized portions. A nice selection of beers, wines and ciders. Enough space to be comfortable and neat, clean bathrooms are always a plus.

We shared a wonderful meal with wonderful dear friends visiting from Australia. So glad we decided to go out of our suburb and eat here. They had great live music, that was a great volume to still be able to hold conversation without yelling and straining to hear. We all had the steak special and all steaks were cooked as requested. The staff were friendly and polite. Would definitely go out of our way to go here again.

Had heard really good things about the food at One Fat Bird from friends and colleagues. Arrived to learn that they 'lost' all their chefs/staff. Now they just do a pub food menu. Decided to have the Korean style chicken burger. - Worst burger I have ever had!
Covered in the most sickly sweet/sugary gelatinous sauce imaginable, served with a side of really badly done chips. The staff member serving us was incredibly weird and had zero people-skills. Very strange interactions with this fella.
We arrived during "happy hour" - which will get you ~ off some of the beers. Not the best deal around.
Overall, this place is obviously very different now due to change in staffing and menu. Currently really not living up to its previous reputation.
Ate very little of it. Left hungry and ended up cooking at home after this :(

Its been a while since we visited One Fat Bird and the menu has changed since our last visit and now has a smaller range of meals to choose from. We started with the German Pretzel which we shared and enjoyed, an interesting and novel starter. I had the steak sandwich and was very happy, plenty of steak and other fillings and good value for money, my wife had the Vegan burger which was , the most expensive Vegan burger we have seen, while it tasted fine it appeared to be a processed manufactured pattie, the rest of the filling was fine but we felt the price of the burger was not justified in the product, a price of 24 would be more realistic. The service was friendly , efficient and prompt and the live music was very good, a very talented musician who I would quite happily sit and listen to. Overall a very good night but just not good value for money on the vegan burger.
