Tried to make a large booking at the Raglan Tavern and was completely let down by the experience. First off, they repeatedly failed to answer the phone over several months. I left multiple messages trying to organise a group booking well in advance, and not once did anyone return my calls.
When I finally managed to get through, the staff were not only unhelpful but downright rude. They acted as though I was being difficult just for trying to book a table ??" and even claimed I hadn't left any messages, which was simply untrue. No apology, no accountability, just a defensive attitude and a clear lack of interest in actually providing service.
It's incredibly frustrating to be treated like this, especially when you're trying to give a business your support. This place clearly doesn't value its customers, and based on this experience, I can understand why it's closing down.
Not sad to see it go ??" hospitality like that won't be missed.
