I usually go to the rathole often with my partner but I went there for dinner with my family and some friends lastnight. Really disappointed with the meal. I ordered the Ribeye steak 450grams cooked medium. It was cooked perfectly however when I was eating it, it tasted very unpleasant. I started to feel sick eating it so I asked a couple of other family how their steak was. One of them said theirs also tasted off so gave some to my dad to taste and he said it smelt rotten before he even tried any. We took our meals back to the chef and she said it was "aged beef" but it never said on the menu it was aged beef and it was definitely rotten beef. Very disappointed with this food. I ended up vomiting not long after eating it. The waiter was very apologetic with it and gave our money back.

Thanks to the lovely lady who is always working when I call into this place for my pokie fix.... I not only walked out after spending most of my money but this particular day, it didnt matter because I made a new friend (thanks for the towel lol....) Nice food, abliging staff. Liked the idea of helping yourself to side dishes. Good selection hot and cold. Will definately dine there again.
