awesome place, plenty of parking and awesome staff, friendly locals, and good food. The room I stayed in was very nice also lot's of room for trucks. Will definitely be coming back

Whatever you do, don't let the outside building or location fool you. The people, the service and the magnificent food is a true credit to them. The wonderful owner and her amazing daughters and team do a cracker job of looking after everyone. Absolute top notch service and always with a smile. Special note for Ayce who made visits by my wife and I a highlight. The whole team is warm and friendly and the food was faultless. If holidaying like we were from Australia and needing to fly out of Christchurch this is a great last night meal stop. When we return to New Zealand we won't be bypassing this place.

We wanted a good old fashioned "pub feed" and this place was perfect. Friendly bartender, clean and unprentious surroundings, and the food was excellent.
Only downside was the acoustics - noise reverberated so it sounded far more crowded than it was.
