Great food, great atmosphere and great staff

Best strawberry daiquiri I've ever had in my life. Food was good, service was fab and it's just a really nice place.

Good beer, reasonably priced meals, and a fantastic atmosphere. Heaps of parking outside. why bother going into town?

Absolutely awesome place to go.
We were in a very large group to celebrate a 50th birthday.
The meals came out quickly and were delicious. My husband and I shared a garlic loaf & prawns in a bucket and we both had the Beef Wellington. They were also great value!
The best thing was the service, it was without a doubt top notch, very friendly & nothing was a problem.
In fact we enjoyed the food so much, we went back for brunch the next day!
We will most definitely be back next time we are in town.

I love the Tavern but last night the price shocked me. It used to be affordable, now for a Rib Eye steak that was so thin and small and for a cider. 2 for 2 meals 2 drinks and one desert. Very disappointing that I have to look elsewhere for another affordable restaurant.
