Pulled into the pub after a huge day on the road and grabbed a burger (hubby had a steak and salad) for dinner. Both meals delicious! Didn't have to wait long and the service was great too. Highly recommend for a feed.

Arrived on State of Origin 3 so fairly busy and noisy in the dining room.
The Chicken Kiev and seared Barramundi meals were excellent.
The staff were friendly and obliging.

I love to support small businesses so we were keen to have dinner here. It was tbh disappointing. The meals took a while to arrive, can live with that but they didn\'t have the footy on to watch while we waited 🤷 so we watched on our phone. A pub without footy on a Saturday night. When our meals arrived the chicken schnitzel was cooked perfectly but sadly the veges were stone cold, so inedible, and the chips were warm at best. I had the Barra it was okay, the chips were warm but the green leaves in the salad were rotten 🤮 and a small portion. I feel you need to get the little things right to survive. Will we be back not likely. So disappointed as I wanted to give a good review.

Really great food with generous servings. Very likable staff. Worth breaking the journey to stop at this nice pub, only one minute off the A1 Bruce Highway.

This was probably one of my first ever "if I could give it more than 5 stars 🌟, I would" restaurant/pub. I completely understand it's very off the radar and quite literally out in the sticks butttttt the food was the best we have ever had. The fish (saltwater btw) one of the absolute best my MIL has ever had - and she was grown up in a fishing family. The steak... cooked to perfection accompanied to what my partner said "the most buttery and creamy hollandaise sauce he has ever had." Mind you - this man easts ALOT of eggs benny... and me, well the ribs were fall off the bone tender by the best Smokey bbq sauce, REAL creamy mash potato and this ore delightfully creamy garlic prawns. We will stop past here with any chance we get!! Thank you for a delicious dinner ??'- BONUS; quite a number of GF options were available!!
