Looking to support local I recalled a pub/restaurant I went to years ago called Ye Old Bailey. I googled the name and rang the restaurant to book a table.
When we arrived the restaurant was now re named The Bailey and was no longer an English pub. We felt quite overdressed considering our reserved table was more or less a bar leaner.
The food was average, cleanliness was average and whole experience disappointing. The staff were nice.
We were harassed by a drunk customer who stole food off our plate twice and yet was still being served alcohol. We were three of the six people in the place and felt some sort of security wouldn't go astray. Intimidated and saddened considering we were there to celebrate a birthday really dampened our event.

Great atmosphere. Friendly staff. Big meals!

Top of the list for a venue that's tucked away and discreet.
Bathrooms are pristine, and outdoor beer garden is perfect for a late night catch-up with the ladz. Inside the bar area is warm and inviting with the lighting set perfectly to accommodate the hardwood polished floors setting the stage for a more romantic meet.
Also, a plus for any adults looking to play and chase features on the grand piano😆...

Just recently found out they do karaoke in a separate side/back area on Fridays! Will definitely pop in with friends to check it out
